Our aimOur aim of this Project is to create a level suitable for a game and also a character with various customization features to roam around it.
The level will vary in size depending our time scale, however will roughly consist of buildings and some green forestation. We will also create a character, and use scripts to allow us to control it from a third person perspective. We will also create some features so that he/she can be customised, these will probably quite simple in the form of decals or small pieces of Armour. We will be using Maya, Photoshop and either Unreal Development Kit (UDK) or Unity3D to help us pull this off. To the right of the screen you can see the pipeline for our project, obviously its quite broad and maybe adjusted accordingly depending on the circumstanse but were confident we'll get this done.. |
What we Hope to Acheive
We would all improve our modelling skills and speed, along with our texturing, all vital to game development. We might also learn some scripting along the way, may be inevitable, and also learn more about game design. We also hope to develop and improve more of our character modelling and animation, learning rig removal and bake the animation for use in games.
